Aicha Maternity Photography

The city does half the work, and the rest is just being present enough to catch it.

Aicha wanted her maternity photos in the heart of downtown, so we started at the Chicago Cultural Center, then crossed over to the park for the rest of the session.

Fall gave us everything you'd want from it. Golden trees, low warm sun, that crisp city light that makes maternity portraits look like paintings.
Quiet, steady, glowing in the way only a soon to be mom can.

Sessions like this remind me why I love shooting in Chicago in the fall. The city does half the work, and the rest is just being present enough to catch it.
