Some nights in Chicago feel like you bumped into a world that wasn't supposed to let you in. Filming this birthday party at Cara Cara in Logan Square, was one of those nights.

Three sisters (triplets by the way!) celebrating another year of life, surrounded by the kind of crowd that makes you sit up a little straighter (in a good way!!)

Everyone looked like they belonged on a moodboard... seriously. Linen, leather, vintage denim, jewelry that caught the light just right.

What surprised me most wasn't the style, it was the warmth. I usually expect a room full of fashion-forward people to feel cold, a little performative.

This was sooo the opposite. People talked, laughed, made space for each other while also posing for my lenses. They were just there, present, super sharp while soft around the edges.

I spent the night gladly moving between corners.

Candlelit conversations, dance floor blur, the three of them on the spotlight the entire night and

a bar full of their friends and family could only

end up in a super cool final result.
